Italy 2016 – Private Holiday Booking
I just wanted to thank you for such a fantastic week of painting on the stunning Amalfi coast.
I have only been painting for 4 years – and never at school – and I have much to learn. I have always found painting en plein air extremely difficult; even impossible. However, with your encouragement, inspiration and wonderful patience you have given me the confidence to tackle this aspect of painting head on. You have a real zest for life and your inspiration is infectious. Thank you so much again for the best painting holiday ever. Xx – Karen Greenfield 2016

Painting outdoors is a whole different experience and thanks to Angela, she really helped me to understand how to plan and execute a painting in the open air. Angela also helped with how to organise oneself outdoors because you have to work quite fast and have everything to hand. Because of this experience I have started to paint outside because I feel more confident.
Mary Stopford-Sackville ‘Dynamic Landscapes in Acrylics’ Marlborough College Summer School 2015’
‘It was all a delight, you are one of the most helpful instructors I’ve come across & I feel much more confident with the acrylics.
So much laughter & merriment! I’ve never enjoyed a course more, only downside was being caught by speed camera on way home!
Thank you so much Angela, hoping to get the paint brush out again soon!

Thank you do much for another fantastic arty party. The girls loved it!
My daughter had one to one tuition with Angela. Angela helped her with her GCSE Art course work. Nothing was too much trouble for Angela. Angela is very organised, very helpful, kind and trustworthy. My daughter Trudy always enjoyed going to Angela’s for lessons. My daughter now has much more confidence with her drawing and painting since having tutition with Angela. My daughter got a high grade B for her GCSE Fine Art. All thanks to Angela!
Richard Scott – 28th February 2013
Since joining your art class on April 2012 as a complete novice, and I mean a ‘complete novice’ having never done any painting previously, I am really pleased with the way I have developed.
From the very beginning each class has taught me a new technique enabling me to draw and paint with confidence. From mixing colours, blending paints, identifying light and shade to building up pictures, your relaxed teaching style has been inspirational to me and, I am sure, my fellow classmates allowing us at all times to develop our own style.
I had never intended to use acrylic paint but your introduction to them has shown me their versatility in combining the convenience of watercolours and the vibrancy of oil paints.
Thank you for your help in developing my painting skills and I would most certainly recommend anyone to ‘take the plunge’ and join one of your classes. I only wish I had joined sooner.

A Parsons – January 2013
Angela has been teaching my 11 year old son Matt, one to one art for about 18months and he has improved his art so much. He has also done a couple of Angela’s workshops, which he enjoyed.
Matt responds well to Angela’s ideas and techniques. I’ve never known anyone to hold Matt’s attention for so long, I wish I knew her secret!!!
Angela has the ability to inspire and empathise with children.
I can highly recommend Angela.
Caroline Thomson – November 2012
A happy and exciting day – Angela led us from a drawing of a still life arrangement to an abstract, self expression in shape and colour. It was fascinating to look back over the stages of the process at the end of the day. All my understanding, from Angela’s acrylic painting classes, came together during the workshop. More please!
Katie Sargent – November 2012, Acrylic Class Salisbury
Angela is a great teacher who gives really clear concise guidelines on how to succeed in getting the best results.
She has a really good routine of showing us how to do it in these great little frequent demonstrations then letting us go off and try for ourselves.
I wasn’t actually ever really taught the basics of painting at school. Angela has taught me what I wished I had had the opportunity to learn at school and I have learnt so much from Angela already as well building my confidence to do my own work at home.

Angela has been an inspiration to me through her creative approach and problem solving ideas. Under her tuition my painting has reached a new plane. I am now really excited about painting again!
Carol-Marie Latsky – November 2010
Although I had taken many Art lessons before, with a couple of other experienced tutors, I had not practiced Art for 3 years and had lost a lot of my confidence. Angela managed to rebuild my confidence in my own abilities, and also made me feel comfortable with my own style. But at the same time, she encouraged experimentation and painting in a more emotionally expressive way, which is something I still need to work at.
